Default A member of the Australian Coronation Contingent - King Edward VII

Private George Lionel Hutton, a member of the Australian Contingent to the coronation of King Edward VII.

Hutton had served in the Boer War with the 1st Queensland Mounted Infantry, and it is the ribbon of the Queen's South Africa Medal pinned to his uniform. Black cockerel's feathers are worn in his slouch hat. Private Hutton is wearing his collar badges attached to his shoulder.

Circa 1902.

Enjoy!

Mick

Hi Mick,

The thumbnails don't appear to be opening. (Well, won't open on my computer anyway.) Is there anywhere where we can see full sized images?

Thanks

Phil
