Hi Bill, I'll take my chances here. By the look of the shoulder titles, I'll say RCASC privates. By the look of the haircut,I'll say mid to late '50's. The Canada patch and the cloth UN patch would date them also mid to late '50's. And, by the look of the two servers in the background I would say these guys are having a meal in a restaurant somewhere in Egypt, Cairo maybe or Alexandria.These may be the Canadian troops serving after the Suez crisis of 1956? As for the beret,are they wearing the old red ones, worn at that time?
