Default WRAC badge by Buttons

Here is an interesting badge that I picked up for my WRAC collection awhile back. I don't now for sure if it's bi-metal or A/A,Would appreciate any thoughts about it - real/fake, or what type metal it is.

My collection of WRAC cap badges so far. Still looking for a Danbury Mint one with blades.

Thank you,

Terry

I think it is Bi metal badge.

Thanks Jerry! I thought it was bi-metal, but just wasn't sure. Also, it's not one I'd ever seen mentioned before, so even if it had been a fake I planned on keeping it in the collection.

I am familiar with your collection as it has served a great inspiration for me.

Please tell me what the one in the second picture lower right with the black background? Also, what is the one on the yellow-ish background in the first picture?

Thanks again,

Terry

Thanks for your comment mate. The one with a black background I believe to be WRAC attached to the Army Air Corps. That was how it was described when brought.
The other is one with a WRAC "teardrop" backing that has seen a lot of sunshine and has faded quite a lot.
Hope that helps.
Jerry

Terry, I have 2 of the Danbury Mint badges, both with blades north & south but the backs are different also there is a variation with clutch pins again north & south. See pictures.

Thanks Jerry,

You have increased my need from one Danbury badge to three of them. But, that's all part of the fun isn't it!!!

Very much appreciate the info and for sharing the pictures!

Terry
