Default earl of carrick yeomanry

Hi everyone.Can anyone give me some tips on identifying a genuine cap badge of the ayrshire yeomanry from a fake one?(slider version)

All in here. There were several variants but the most common fake are the same as the a/a pattern.

Hi,heres the one im trying to find out if its good or not.Its got a good patina to the front.just worried about the slider.
