ThoughtI would share this with you, -If only badges could talk!

All came together, amazing shape! Regards pips, has anyone ever done any research into them, the variation in manufacture, the colours and in the case of these with the Thistle never looked too closely before but now I want to check out if Irish Regimental Rank Pips have a Shamrock?
