Hi Justin,

Thanks for your input. I have uploaded close up photos of #6. Might it actually be an airline badge of some sort?

Pictures of #8 and #9 show the lugs. Both badges are brass and in excellent condition.

I also have attached better pictures of #3 and #20 as you requested.

Hi Bill,

Thank you for the photos. For #6 Probably a latin quote? Able to read the whole phrase? If not airline badge, probably a school badge or tramway badge. That motto is a helpful clue.

For 8 and 9, the titles are English made. May be related to a non-military group.

I think there may be a Scottish connection , I read the motto as "The world oer" which is from a Robert Burns poem:

A Man’s A Man For A’ That.

That man to man the world oer, shall brithers be for a that.

Also above the motto there appear to be Scottish thistles.

In regards to number #20, something similar after running several combinations of searches were good luck badges similarly seen on masonic items.

The central shield is interesting , the "crowned heart" in the top corner is quite often associated with the Douglas family/clan.
