Default 14th/20th King's Hussars Officers Forage Cap.

What's left of a 14th/20th King's Hussars Officers cap.
It's a pity it's been damaged, it would have been a nice cap before the moths got to it, but for £5 (and with a badge generously donated by a forum member) it'll do.
The regiment was amalgamated into the King's Royal Hussars in 1992 having been formed in 1922 as the 14th/20th Hussars by the amalgamation of the 14th King's Hussars and the 20th Hussars, being renamed the 14th/20th King's Royal Hussars in 1936.

Yes, I know a collector should aim for high quality and condition of items but I've never been able to shake off the "never mind the quality, feel the width" approach, certainly at that price.
