That particular badge has been doing the rounds for a while, easily recognized by the off centre position of the title scroll.

Just too many about for a single Battalion worn 1908-15.

The picture is from the 1930s so is well before restrikes.

Alan,

Thanks for posting.

The badge looks very distinctive. Is it the scan or is the middle jewel in the coronet as exceptionally long as it appears? Also ‘The Welsh’ scroll ends don’t have tail points, rather unusually they appear to smoothly tuck back up into the scroll like ears.
