Guards Cavalry and Armour
Gentlemen,
After this one just one more thread and then FINALLY all badges have been posted here on the Forum. Yes it is the final countdown. Thank you for bearing with me! The question as always: are these badges original and correct for ww1 and/or ww2 era? Any and all help welcome. Thanks! Cheers, Tom |

May be best to include Recon with this lot.

Not one I'd be happy with!

That appears not to have it's original fittings on it's reverse?

That is a correct observation. Appears to have had two horizontally placed arms that have been removed and replaced with luggs.

Yes, well I think if you are happy with it, it is okay, many did have blades originally and these are often found with them removed.

Hi Frank, I kind of like these badges that show a development and show that they have been used. I am not a mint purist. Cheers, Tom

Frank, Does that mean: reproduction? Or not one you would like in your collection as you do not like the condition (or something else) of it? Thanks. Tom

Yes, I do not believe that is original, but, don't worry, plenty of real ones to be bought, they are not rare.
