Camerons Sweetheart?
Hi Gents,
Any opinions on this very large white metal "Camerons" which appears to have been adapted as a Sweetheart or a pin on brooch. Thanks Kevin |

Greetings Kevin.
I am no expert in relation to Cameronians badges, however I like this item for the following reasons: The clarity and striking of both the front and rear appears genuine, especially the face and hands, nothing distorted nor alien. If it is a wrong 'un, why add the excessive silver braize or whatever it is? The fixtures for the brooch fitting appear the same as many brooched badges I have and have seen. However, as always, I stand to be corrected and lashed ruthlessly with a stick of wilted rhubarb. Regards Brian |

Brian,
Thanks for looking and your positive comments. Wilted rhubarb does sound a little medieval though Regards Kevin |

Yes, wilted celery is more up to date, WWII (a la 'Allo 'Allo).
