Default Cadet Instructors List Shooting Pin

Good Afternoon

I picked this item up and wonder if anyone recalls this ever being awarded and if so when and where.

Chris,

The letters "CIL" do not stand for Cadet Instructors List. They denote an abbreviation for Canadian Industries Limited, which is a company that used to manufacture sporting ammunition. They often sponsored shooting competitions, and I believe that the pin that you picture is one of several types that were given as awards. Definitely not military or cadet issue! Cheers,

Walt

Walt,

You are a wealth of knowledge! This is what makes this site so fantastic, because it brings people together that are so willing to share their knowledge. I will take this pin and file it away. Unless someone is interested in buying it at my cost and postage or something close.

Chris
