Only an opinion, but this is all about badges not other items of militaria.

How about this then. I think it's the swastica that puts people off, but I find a captured WW1 German badge made into a unique piece of trench art by a British tommy to be fine. It's what they did.
It's going to be shown down her in the dungeon under 'Other Militaria'

I'm sure that most of the trench art that will be shown with have British/Commonwealth badges on but there may also be the odd WW1 German captured badge in there.

Only my thoughts
Regards
Irv

Cool Trench art

Well, as a bit of an old killjoy I must now say that I capitulate and yes, lets have a section on trench art.

What sort of Trench art are we interested in?

Items made by Allied troops, enemy POW's, French factories who turned out items for souvenirs which were sold to British visitors in the 1920's or more recently manufactured items.

It is an interesting subject, but one that has no real bearing historically IMO, there is no real evidence of any authenticity and every item has to be viewed in context.

I do have a small collection of items which may be of interest and I would be willing to post them.
