Morning Michel, There are many more varieties of the Canadian Engineers cap badges. They were worn from circa 1902 through 1936. There were many makers and the demand increased substantially during the First World War with several makers being contracted to produce badges. One can make quite a collection of this style of badges.

Hi Michel - nice to have two two maker -marked and dated CEF versions! Many badges don't have that detail. The maker on the second badge would be "RODEN". Cheers, Ian.

Thanks to all for sharing photographs, details and experience.

I did not realize that some badges could be marked with a date! What a terrific detail. Congratulations Michel.

Cheers, Roy.
