hello,
it's not a 50th CEF battalion badge. This is a 50th Regiment (Gordon Highlanders of Canada) 1913-1920 badge, worn on the feather bonnet with a black leather rosette and on the glengarry without. regards. Jean-Marie |

Jean-Marie has the id. The badge looks good. It is not a known victim of repro badges.

the subtitle 'Gordon Highlanders of Canada' appears in numerous books, articles and designations, official or not. Regimental buttons, sporran badges and shoulder titles had the mention Gordon Highlanders.
