Can anyone help out with identifying this one? It's in a museum as a Goldfish Club badge but I dont think it is.
Thanks in advance Bill

Kohat District India. Definitely not a gold fish, it is described as a white dog fish.

Looks like Boulanger's illustration F402 in terms of appearance and construction (I haven't got "BoB" to hand).

I actually think that it is a cat fish but Howard Cole says that it is dog fish.

Thanks for the quick response as always.
I didn't think it was GF Club as the fish is quite different.I did think Indian or Pakistani but don't have much reference material on those badges. Thanks again, Bill

"Badges on Battledress" by Jon Mills, no. 3435, the fish shown is described as a "Maheer or game fish" (a Maheer is a form of carp according to Wikipedia)

If you look in the alternative book, number 13 shows it with chips, some are maris piper and others from an Andean varietal for units serving in the South Atlantic
