Default Car Boot finds YES! they're back!!

Have been to a car boot!!!

What a nice day, weather perfect! A few finds also! The place was packed and only went as told about it last night!

A nice Silver Officers WRAC badge with collars, stamped "P" and maker marked, I like the cloth and would appreciate information on the "Civilian Mil-Gov"

The Shields are not my thing so will be moving on but would seek an idea on what is a fair price? and list in the classifieds the RFC may find a home here though? Still mulling this one over?

York and Lancasters - Hallisham T.A. dated 1944 to rear damage to Tiger! So pointing this out!

Royal Signals post war? Nice condition

Royal Flying Corps no idea on era? 1918? 1920,s??? The varnish has reacted or cigarette smoke? To turn what ought to be Light Blue to a Yellow colouring!

I also bought some coin sets, a case off buy the lot to get what I really wanted, of course nobody was interested in these till I had them out and some chap was hanging over my shoulder! Does anyone have an interest in these as I am clueless but some I have googled, "Wellingtons 200 years set of Bronze Coins -the central one being 14 Gold plated of Wellington (missing) off course but only one" also a 1935 "5 Reichmarkes coin with Hitlers head" this is a fake coin (from google), but some real wartime coinage, just a few bits to show what I have, please P.M. me if you do coins!

Many thanks Billy

You certainly appear to have had a good day, I suspect rather better than mine!
I do not think the RFC shield has any great age to it though.

Cool Car boot finds

I went out this morning and bought four rolls of sellotape for £1.00 from the car boot, I suspect other militaria collectors went out earlier than me . . !

Always enjoy seeing others finds. Some nice items there and of course for me the top would be the WRAC bits.

Hello Billy, Did you get any biscuits aswell..........
I believe that the "Civilian Mil-Gov" slip on title was worn by a "civilian" member of the Control Commission Germany. I stand to be corrected.
If it needs a home please let me know. I was at Chatham and picked up a few items to add to the ever growing collection.
Regards Jerry.

Billy, Just noticed the top right patch. That is for the London ATS girls and was worn the other way around - sword point up. A very nice patch to have too!
