What is this badge from, I'm away so don't have access to my reference books and can't remember what this is! Also, is it original?

This pattern was the one used prior to the current anodised/new metal pattern.
This one does appear in anodised,very very scarce though.

As used today, with scroll, in anodised alluminium.
