Default Mechanical & Electrical Engineers

I have 4 badges that I am trying to work out how old they are. The are for the Royal Australian Mechanical and Electrical Engineers I believe.

The are 3.4 cm long.

I have 2 in grey marked "K G Luke M" I believe

And I have 2 in white marked "MELB". I am not sure if their is anything preceeding the MELB.

How old are these badges?

They are probably from the 1980s or 1990s.

Default RAEME Collar Badges King's Crown

Hi all,
I purchased a pair of KC REME collar badges recently (giving them the benefit of the doubt) but I have reason to suspect that they were British exclusively and never worn in Australia with King's crown.
I saw a uniform years ago which had ordinary KC hat badges on the collars, both of course facing to the left.
Can anyone confirm or refute this?
Thanks.

The only scenario I can think of the REME collars being worn instead of RAEME ones would be that no RAEME ones were available at the time or still being manufactured.

The Army Museum @ Bandiana might know more and maybe be able to confirm/deny this.
