Here’s a photo of the back of the large east Anglia brigade badge. You can see that the tye type has four fixings holding it together, compared with the more commonly found three ( there’s one under the slider), and of course there’s one with no fixing, as it’s made in one go.

It’s hard to find the tye type, my advice would be buy it if you see it.
By the way I would like to find one with the slider missing. Thanks Andrew
