They had their own labels etc (photo 2).

The last date is on an invoice (31-10-1962). In 1978 the company had changed to Miller Rayner Danco. The internet says '1970s'.
So I wonder if the company "bought out" a smaller (possibly overseas ?) firm and then 'registered' the "Cutlass Clothing" logo/name.

Default Danco

Danco was a well established firm that provided nurse's uniforms for many years, I think that a Danco shop was still in operation in Islington, Liverpool in the late 1970s. I still have my mother's old uniforms with Danco labels attached. Miller, Rayner, Haysom and Danco possibly merged in the late '70s or early '80s. I think the shop closed in the mid-80s.
I've got, and have had, lots of MN items by Cutlass, but have never seen an address belonging to the brand.

A bit more digging into Danco and trademark :

22 March 1965 - DANCO trademarked the word CUTLASS.

20 July 1984 - DANCO trademarked (Figurative) Cutlass with drawing underneath.

23 April 1991- Name And Address Change (MILLER RAYNER DANCO LIMITED)

27 August 1997 - APP FOR REVOCATION BY A G THOMPSON PTY LIMITED ????

3 June 1998 - REV ALLOWED SEE REG DEC 24.3.98

So , it looks like DANCO initially registered the 'brand' years before they joined up with Miller/Rayner then updated the 'graphic' . Has anyone got/seen a label with the graphic ?

Then another company applied and had their trademarks revoked !
