Default Help with metal SAS beret badge with slider

I recently was given this metal SAS beret badge and would like to see if Forum members would care to tell me what I actually have. It seems to me to be of good quality and feels heavy in the hand at over 9 gms. The construction is two-piece with a slider. It is unmarked on the reverse. Would it have been an issued piece or is it a replica and either way, what era? If it helps, it came with what I assume is a well-made bullion blazer badge (image also attached) which measures about 4” in height.

Thank you in advance for your experienced opinions.

I missed this discussion from back in 2011 in the Forum on the "Bi-metal SAS badge":

Should you ever go the Staff College at Shrivenham there is a painting and artists sketch of 21 SAS in their drill hall at a parade all wearing No1 Dress and No1 Dress hats with metal rather than cloth badges. Dated from 1950s/1960's.
