I have Harry's orriginal Diary and his copy of his book he came from Oulton Stone Staffordshire he recieved a MC for his daring escape.

I was advised by his Nephew that his Medals and those of his brother NIGEL 5th North Staffordshire Regiment are somewhere in Australia.

If only I could track them down I will post images of brothers later members may be aware in my collection to my home town of Stone Staffordshire

Default HCW Bishop

I am currently writing a book about EH Keeling and his capture at Kut and subsequent escape from Kastamuni. My interest lies in the fact that his only son Christopher was my very first boss! He has now sadly died but I have all his books and papers. I am looking for some background information on H C W Bishop and R T Sweet, both before and in Bishop's case, after the War. I have some good background on R J Tipton. If anyone can help I would be most grateful.

Stephen,
Thought I would message you as you may not have picked up my reply to the thread about HCW Bishop which is over 2 years old. I would love to know more about Bishop. I have his book.
Peter
