The large metal eagle is a pouch badge.
The large metal badge, last post.,maybe from the gates of a barracks. I do recall the large badge on the gate was removed and disappeared very quickly when we were reached. |

The Vikings cloth title was worn on a brassard by 1 R ANGLIAN on a United Nations Bosnia deployment. Displayed at the Essex Regiment museum, Chelmsford in 2011.

1st post 3rd image, the small East Anglia badge is likely a collar. Dont think I've seen one before. If it is a collar ,then you need another.
2nd post ,I'm assuming there should be Royal Anglian Officers collars the same as the cap badge. The Btn patterns didn't come in straight away. Finally ,I'd check on the dates regarding the Leicestershire collars. There are the pattern that are the same as the cap badge . Again I'm unsure on dates of wear. Although they do exist in a/a so must be 1950s or later. |

Thank you for your replies I will check the dates but I seem to recall the tigers being disbanded before the regiment started wearing bn collars.
The small east anglian badge has long lugs of the type seen on officers cap badges and i havn't seen another one either |

Hi, the large anodised east anglian with a missing slider is quite a rare maker, your right the small metal east anglian is a officers cap badge, the large round eagle should have a purple backing to it, and lastly, the heavy badge is cast brass, made at Perkins engines Peterborough, and worn on a pouch (band). Some are plated silver, some are painted silver .

I agree with you on that Neil,I did mean during the Brigade period. I had a look in the old Churchill book. Sketchy to say the least. The cap badge collar it states post 1951 and the wreathed Tiger it gives no date. I'm sure the newer version of Churchill would provide more information.
