Default 'S' Half wing

A friend recently picked this up, he thinks possibly a Stewardess type insignia? any ideas?

I think this is a Dutch naval air force gunners (Schutter) wing.

Well, never mind, after all, where would the poor Home Secretary, Reginald Maudling have been without the attentions of the lovely stewardess, when he boarded his flight home, after his visit to Northern Ireland?
