Mystery anodised buttons
I have been sorting out my anodised buttons and have these that i am unable to identify. All are British made; Gaunt or Firmin.
Any one able to positively id any.

Hi turntostone,
Not a great deal of help but may put you on the right path. (Assuming you are reading left to right, top to bottom) 1. Looks like the Eagle from the RAF or Air Training Corps (ATC), except that it is missing the Crown (KC or QC) or “A.T.C.” above the eagle. Don’t know whether there are any ex-Empire or Commonwealth Air Forces who use the same eagle but without the crown. 2. Coronet over “VIII” – Unknown. 3. Bird with flapping wings standing on one leg – Ghana Army. 4. The Kings Regiment (Liverpool) – Hopefully 8th Foot can help with this id. 5. Looks to be flat, so I would therefore assume that this is a blazer button for the Seaforth Highlanders. 6. Musicians - Do not think it is a Military button. I think it is a generic Musicians button as worn by numerous brass bands etc. (i.e. Brighouse and Rastrick Band). Hope that helps rather than confusing. Cheers Ian |

The small button with the horse and "The Kings" on the scroll below is a Kings Liverpool pre amalgamation cap button, also worn by Liverpool University OTC.
P.B.

Coronet over VIII looks like an 8th Canadian Hussar's (Princess Louise's)

Jim has it for the button with the coronet over VIII. The button directly below that looks like a Seaforth Highlanders, perhaps mess kit? Or mess steward?
