Default Differences between the British, Australian and Canadian Royal Artillery cap badges?

When looking at the front of contemporary (anodized/modern metal) Royal Artillery cap badges.

What are the differences between the British, Australian and Canadian Royal Artillery cap badges (If any)??? I do notice some subtle differences, but are these due to the different manufactures???

Is there a distinct attribute to the design that is unique between the British, Australian and Canadian Royal artillery cap badges.

Thank you,

Drew

Hi Drew

Whilst I have a few Australian artillery badges its not my main area of collecting, however I do have a new Artillery badge in its original bag with a bar code and NSN number, 8455-66-031-4754.

For a start it is quite flat, ie there is no curve in the badge, measured with a cheap plastic calliper it is 64mm long across the lower scroll and 48mm high from the centre of the lower scroll to the top of the crown and the barrel is 30mm long. It also has 3 clutch and pins N, E & W and it has a very shiny "gilt" finish.

I hope that this helps.

Regards

Phil.
