The ox & bucks formed the first battalion R.G.J. We most certainly did wear collar badges, on our no.2 dress, which were blackened bugle horns. The other two battalions, 2nd former KRRC and 3rd former RB, also wore the blackened bugle horn on no.2 dress. Perhaps you're thinking of the Green Jacket Brigade? when the three battalions had a greater distinction in uniform than when they formed the R.G.J.

Yes I was Billy. I do remember that RGJ had small black bugles. I served alongside them several times. It was the Green Jacket Brigade that I had meant.
