York and Lancaster Regiment
I dont usually touch items like this but this embroidery which measures approx 27" x 24" and is on a black silky material, is far superior to the normal examples.
Some one has gone to a lot of trouble and spent a lot of time in making this piece of memorabilia especialy on the colours ( flags ) with the use of gold as well as coloured threads. Will look well framed, why dont I come across items like this to the Kings. P.B.

What a stunner! Imagine the pride taken in making such an exquisite item. Far superior to anything comparable I have seen Mike |

That looks very familiar to one I've seen recently. Do you mind me asking where it came from?
Thanks, Ivan |

Thanks Peter. Does it look like a rip in the black material has been repaired?
(I have a good reason for asking). Ivan |

Great looking piece. I try to pick up items like this when found, but that is not very often in that quality.
