Default R Inniskilling Fus- SDA & Co41

Comments please on this badge. The slider has the name 'S.D.A. & Co41' stamped into it.

The castle is missing its flag, and the whole white metal castle is attached to the grenade by two wires, not rivets.

The badge came from a collectables shop in Queensland.

Thanks, Stephen.

The two wires method of fixing was used on badges created specifically for the collectors market in the 1970s.

It was also used by Indian makers of badges produced for regts serving in the sub-contingent.

I don't recognise the maker but its possibly a period locally produced badge.

Not my area but one of the 'bazaar' badge collectors might know more.
