Not my field of collecting but I must say it looks very good. The amount of detail shown in the pics is excellent, well done. I looked through the different pages that you link and the site works ok, but no prices or shipping showing yet

I agree Lee,

It looks as though a huge " congratulations " will be in order Chris, from these short excerpts it looks to be a very comprehensive cover of the subject, well done.

Dave.

Thanks Guys - very kind of you both.

I was actually only experimenting with setting up a footer with the link.

I was also trying to incorporate a QR code icon too but no joy there.

re: site. I have built a PayPal 'Buy Now' button to allow direct ordering of the book and I hope to incorporate that into the Order page followed by an 'Order Successfully Placed' page. Will switch this on when the books arrive from the printers. There is one small issue with the slip case cover but I was told yesterday that the book was on the server ready for immediate printing.

Price and shipping will be on the expensive side I'm afraid but on a par with other collector type books and probably less than the pair of K+K books that are still available it seems. Note that book is 665 letter size (USA A4 size) pages, over 1100 colour images, with slipcase and weighs in at over 3 kgs.

I'll try and put prices up on the site this weekend.

Regards

Chris

Hi Andy,

I hope to get them from the printers in early Jan 2013.

I believe that it is a good publication with lots of new info in, especially, Appendix 4 which gives all the 'good stuff' about each officially (note the word officially) authorised badge by the War Office and MoD.

Contents are here:

http://www.aacapbadges.com/contents.html

I hope it covers quite a wide investigation into these badges.

Regards

Chris

Chris,
I'm sure the book will be superb and better than the comic that is the standard guide at present! I think we may be about to witness the advent of an outstanding reference work!

Well done on your efforts!

Andy

I think "Marsh" will join the likes of K&K, Cox, Gaylor and Churchill as a reference for evermore!

That's enough smoke blown by me for tonight!

Marsh or Hagwalther, either way I agree with Andy.
