A cast badge, but for ORs Could this not be an officer badge?

Ludlow usually make officers badges with London I believe a sign of later badge, is it silver, the copper lugs are not out of place if it is.

To make the identification as an O R's badge.
The badge just looks WM to me, not silver but I may be wrong.

Now I can see that it is a die stamped badge. It looks to be WM to my eye as well.
