Just a wild guess, the acorn of the South Nottinghamshire Hussars?

Rgds,

Now that is a better image, I have seen this before but can not find the reference, possibly 40 Div related as it is a representation of a black acorn on a green disc.

Default Black Pear Helmet marking

The badge is that of 67th (South Midland) Field Regt RA TA, a pre-war TA unit based in Worcestershire. The black pear is a traditional Worcester symbol. It may also have been worn by the duplicate unit formed from 67th in 1939, the 119th Field Regt.

This information comes from two issues of the Military Heraldry Society's journal, The Formation Sign in January and April this year.

Nice find

There were 4 S Midlands Field Rgts - 67, 68, 119 & 120. The first 2 both served in France in 1940 and later in the Middle East and Italy. 119 & 120 both stayed in the UK for the duration.
