Default Victoria Carnival 1936, 77 field Bty RA Dunkirk's beach

Hello.
I'm tring to get informations about a couple of medals found on Dunkirk's beach in the 80's and lost during may and june 1940 by a british soldier.
Inscriptions are still visible on both and Victoria Carnival is still unknow for me, even if it seems to be an important event. What is Victoria Carnival ?
F T Winners is it Football Team winners ?
A name Gnr E.Long and an RA unit is still visible 77 field battery with a date 1936.

Has anyone heard about this event and can explains a bit about that event ? Thanks a lot.
