Most have had a dip in acid. Just a level of concern knowing next to nothing about preservation. I have cleaned up a few badges using cotton swabs dipped in vinegar to dab slowly with great success - just time consuming. I've been thinking about making the time to clean them completely lately as I don't have kids yet and it's either now or when I'm retired in 40 years..
