Hi picked this badge up, it is Hallmarked to? year. V & S —— Anchor ~ Lion ~ K

Rear is etched to a Mrs Con Banks, now I did look to see what Google threw up on this and a short History is humongous! goes on for pages & pages, gave up!

Has anyone come across one of these before? The engraving looks to be quite new? any ideas would be welcome, many thanks in advance Billy

Hallmark is 1984 , V&S is probably Vaughton & Sons.

Chairman of the Bristol Branch is Mr. Conrad Banks , so badge may have belonged to his wife ?

Thank you Mike, so badge would be Silver with a Gold overlay I presume? Badge is nice and 1984 is a good starting point but opens up a hell of a lot of Aero related topics!
