Default NZ badge to be identify
I bought this badge not long ago.is it a ww1 or ww2 regiment?Its the only nz badge ive ever come across since ive been collecting.Is it a common one?t bag

Hello Tommy,
This hat badge is for 10th (North Otago Rifles) Regiment, worn in First World War, not common with slider, usually lugged. The same size badge is worn as collar badge.

Geoff Oldham's catalogue (2011) has this badge at NZ$15.00 but with the slider it could go for more.
