Bet I can stump the forum with this one:

I'm researching this WW2 casualty. CWGC gives his unit as "Malaya Civil Defence Observer Corps"

does anyone know if this unit had a badge?

I think he's the only casualty for his unit.

very interesting site there. perhaps he would just wear a civil defence or home guard badge?
