I really don't think any one copying badges would be bothered going to the effort of faking infantry badges like the 16th & 14th .The market is flooded with the originals as it is ($15 -$20 NZ).I have seen NZ Mounted Rifles regiments faked ,but they are poor quality cast ones..Post pictures of the badges and have them assessed by one of the experts(not refering to myself by any means)

Sadly, New Zealand badge reproductions have been around for 30+ years.
Nothing is sacred. Buyer bewear.
