They are very common generic Australian Army patches.
The top one worn on poly uniform and the others on early/mid 1990s DPCU. Mick

Thanks Mick, I figured they were pretty common. Do you know where they were worn on the uniform? Were they ever worn on any headgear?

Hi Terry,
The top patch is the old 'square' patch worn as part of the 'Polyester' ceremonial uniform was replaced a few years ago with a similar 'oval' patch. The all brown patch (lower right) is the first variety used on the old Disruptive Pattern Camouflage Uniform (DPCU) which was then replaced by the camouflage (lower left). All these patches were worn on the upper left arm of the uniform, sewn either 1 or 2cm (depending on the item of clothing) below the shoulder seam of the sleeve. Cheers, Dan |
