Hi Bess,

It's all a bit hit and miss at times but the directive was to remove seeding.

I have a Coldstream Guards badge with slider (which in itself is uncommon) by LB&B and this does not have seeding while my other one by Gaunt does. Therefore they did follow official directives at times and did not just copy an existing badge.

Could the seeded version be Cardiff University,when they wore the RRW badge ?

Ooh, good call Mike. If anyone could bottom that one out I'd be grateful.

Had a quick look in K&K, the only version being the RRW (which it states is ALL SILVER anodised?). In true K&K style the image is crap but looks 'un-seeded' on the scroll and the badge doesnt appear in the OTC/University section in the back.

Ahhh, right ok.I dont have a copy to use as reference.
But,what if they took the image as we all have that it was the same badge.When in reality it was very slightly different.
Would be great if we could get hold of the sealed pattern card for either the RRW or the original Cardiff Uni badge.
