I've clearly got too much time on my hands...

Another fine auction from Marway Militaria in Winnipeg, Manitoba Canada.

British Army: Gurkha Regiment, Signals Cap Badge. Queens Crown, post 1953 issue. Lug fasteners. Bi metal. A very well made badge, but Stamped COPY back wards on back.

Interesting that the badge backing is made up using two strips of the Green/Black/Red/Black/Green ribbon used as the backing for QGOs' badges of rank.
The men of the Gurkha Para Coy will certainly have looked smarter than their 1945 vintage predecessors. I particularly like FSgt Ballance's style of "shorts"!
