Steve,

I realise the sale is over, but do you have a link for the QGS badge sold on Ebay?

Default Kurkha Sig Badge

Dear All.

I was one of those who put a bid in for the two piece Kurkha badge.

It is one that I do not have on my web site by way of an actual badge, only a photo courtesy of Paddy.

I stopped at what I thought was a rediculously high price but it went on to an unbelievable finishing price of £103 and could have gone futher I assume.

I don't think I will be getting the original for my little web site at that kind of price.

Would love to know who the final purchaser was and is he a collector or a dealer.

Cheers

Hi William,

The badge is here:

http://cgi.ebay.co.uk/ws/eBayISAPI.d...=STRK:MEWAX:IT

As I said, I wouldn't buy it but with 7 bids quite a few others disagree with me. Hopefully they have some official information on this particular item...

Regards

Chris

Looks very similar to mine. I paid rather less, but bought it a long time ago and have since paid very much more than £103 for other AA badges.

Good luck to both seller and buyer.

Images attached, for comparison.

Default Original Scarce Gurkha Sigs AA - Not so rare?

Not sure whether I shd even post this; suspect it may create a strong likelihood of making more enemies than friends.

Am 99.6 percent sure I've got a spare one of these somewhere. Have already searched the most likely places, but it's late at night and I see a large scotch in a regimental crystal tumbler waiting to wish me goodnight.

Will resume search operations first thing after reveille tomorrow. IF I find it, I wd prefer an exchange, rather than to sell.
