Ken,

I dont believe thats a drivers badge.

I think its a Foreign rank star off the shoulder, not sure which country.

Catalogue CB 2019, Pattern number 16651, sealed 29 Dec 1954, entered catalogued 12 Aug 1955. Introduced by List of Changes Sep 1955 C6758 for wear on No.3 Dress, NSN CB 8455-99-135-1960, still in the COSA in 1963.
