where did you find them? are there dealers in india? or are these from bazaars and markets?

Here is a close up of the Calcutta Light Horse badge.
Hi Chaps

This pattern of badge seems to have been worn over a long period of time by the Calcutta LH, possibly 1902-1947. It's shown in Cox as being worn as a cap badge during WW1.

BC,

mainly from bazaars and markets in Rajasthan and Central India. Once shopkeepers knew what I was looking for and realised that I was prepared to pay it was amazing what appeared from the depths of shops. There was a medal and coin dealer in Chandi Chowk in Old Delhi that had a few badges and memorial plaques.
