Default spurious and / or a frankenstein's monster

This badge on Ebygum 254242126231 purports to be a KLR (Patt 4362A/1896) but it is all WM. This would suggest a 7th TF Bn badge - but the WO suspended the production of 7th Bn badges in 1915 (along with many other TF badges in an "economy drive".)

This is a three way marriage ! The horse and ground is my 1896/Die15 - which inded looks like a pre 1915 design - but I have only seen Die 15 on regular (ie BM) badges.
The new partners are the tail - neatly brazed back on to the rump. As is the scroll - though the tabs are about right. I have never seen a scroll (for this type) with a plain back.

If it had got broken in the 1st WW it would surely have been chucked away. After the war who would have bothered to put together these three diverse elements! Unless, of course, a modern construction !?

Any comments / thoughts !?

I agree Julian.

That seller has some good badges, some iffy badges and some absolute rotters.

My thoughts would be to avoid this seller, given the amount of rubbish he sells.

It looks cast, and has the tail fallen off at some time ?
