Default Help with Ebay

Hello Troops
I am as thick as a brick when it comes to computers, and I would like some help. I have been given an Ebay number, I have typed in Ebay, then typed in the number, and it comes back that it doesn,t recognize the number.
What am I doing wrong?
Many thanks.
Terry

Try opening eBay on any item and then type in the number as a search, should work.

I have occasionally asked a seller about an individual item in a job lot , they have replied that they will relist the item.

They e-mail later to say they have done so and give the eBay number , a quick search turns up nothing ! After maybe 5-10 minutes another search is successful , so perhaps it is simply a case of a slight delay between posting and the item actually appearing on the site.

Edit: Search from eBay homepage.

If the item has sold it won’t recognise it.

You can search for the Ebay number, then select "completed items". If its sold or ended, it will then show up.

Thumbs up

Many thanks lads for all your help, I now know what to do.
Bring up the eBay page, click ADVANCED, type in the number and what do you know, up comes the badge.
Thanks again.
regards Terry
