Default ROYAL CYCLE CORP ???

Anyone encountered this before ? Sorry for some reason I cannot upload the pic . But it looks like the standard British Army Cyclists Corps cap badge , but in the scroll it says ROYAL CYCLE CORP ( yes with no 'S' )

What extention does your image have, e.g. jpg, tiff. perhaps the image is incompatible with the forum's software?
Or perhaps the forum's software has been upgraded to recognize fakes at a preliminary stage?

Sometimes I have difficulty posting images because my description of the image (ie name) is too long. Copying and renaming, then adding the image with a shortened name usually sorts this out. I hope this helps

Theories and purely that
1. It was made abroad and there was a language barrier
2. Had it made in the UK and someone didn't check their facts

yes both sound plausible but I would have thought if you were ordering a batch of badges to be made you would supply the maker with a drawing ?
