26 Royal Engineers arc title
When I bought this shoulder arc title I was told that it referred to a Company of the Royak Engineers attached to the 24th Guards Brigade, thence the rounded corners of the title. What puzzles me, is that the 24th Guards Brigade had a 42nd Company, RE, attached, theferore i don't really understand the meaning of the "26" on the title... any hints?
