Default Couple of unidentified formation badges

Found these two in a large lot of formation badges I recently picked up. Can anyone help ID these two?
Thanks in advance,
Garth

The one on the right has been IDed as a 1940's vintage US ROTC patch. The one on the left is still unidentified.

Hi All,

Am I right in thinking the badge on the left is more of a 'coat of arms'?
