My paternal great grandfather was a Lieutenant in the 4th Northam - Newcastle Squadron 18ALH (WAMI).

"Newcastle" is the old name for Toodyay, but I expect you know that.

Just thought I would mention it for in case you were doing some research on your g. grandfather and wondered where "Newcastle" was.
Wieck also mentions Mukinbudin as contributing to No. 4 Squadron. Were you fortunate enough to obtain any of you G.Grandfather's gear? Donny B. |

No. Somewhere I have a copy of a paper cutting of the local paper where he was given a military funeral in 1905.
